glacier loss in Greenland, 4 times faster after

➢ Antarctic glacier loss has increased 6 times
more in the last 40 years.

level rise, and Antarctica’s 7.3m rise.
➢ Venecia, Italy will be underwater by 1m sea
level rise 100 years later.
➢ Hamburg, Germany and Amsterdam, the
Netherlands and Manhattan, NY will be
submerged by 3m sea level rise 200 years
later.
➢ Shanghai is also expected to be underwater,
when the sea level rises by 6m 400 years later.
