Staff Graduations

Mr William Makopola Matlou, completed his Master of Engineering in Mechanical
Engineering, Institution: University of South Africa Title of Dissertation: Effect of rolling
direction on mechanical properties and corrosion behaviour of AA 5083 Friction-Stir-
Welded joints.

Mr Lebogang Lebea completed his Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering
(MEng). Institution: Tshwane University of Technology . Title of the dissertation: Study
of 3D printed dental implant material properties under fatigue loading

Ms Lucy Khumalo the Junior lecturer she has completed her master's degree under the
Supervision of Prof Patel. Title of dissertation: Process Simulation of the co-gasication
of Biomass and Polyethylene.

Mr Kgabo Mokgohloa submitted his PhD in Industrial Engineering. Institution:
University of South Africa. Title of Thesis: Systems dynamics model for the
development of strategy and policy framework for postal industry 4.0 in South
Africa

Ms Palesa Tshetlanyane completed her advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering with
University of South Africa.

Mr Xolani Yokwana Completed a 14 weeks Young Academic Program (YAP). He was
also part of 19 Young academics that participated in Africa Leadership forum in
Botswana (Gaborone) from 24-26 October 2022. He is also invited by Department
of Science and Innovation as a delegate to participate in World Science Forum (WSF)
the rst forum to be hosted in Africa from 5th-9th December 2022 Cape Town. Mr
Yokwana presented 2 conference papers in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur 27-28 October
2022.
