Redaction: Thy King Cometh

           MATTHEW MARK LUKE JOHN

Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. And Jesus answering saith unto

them, Have faith in God. • Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this
which is done to the fig tree, but also {if ye / [t]hat whosoever} will say unto this mountain, Be thou
removed, and be thou cast into the sea; [A]nd shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those
things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith[,] • it shall be done. •

Therefore I say unto you, • all • [w]hat things soever ye desire, • ye shall ask in prayer, • when ye pray •
believing, • that • ye shall receive • them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive,
if ye have ought against any: [T]hat your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your
trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

was come into the temple, • as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, • as he was
walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders • of the people
       • [a]nd spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? • [A]nd who • is he that •
gave thee this authority to do these things? And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you

one question, • which if ye tell • and answer me, • I in the like wise will tell you by what authority I do
these things. The baptism of John, whence was it? [F]rom heaven, or of men? • [A]nswer me. And they
reasoned with themselves, saying, • If we shall say, From heaven; [H]e will say unto us, Why did ye not
then believe him? But if we shall say, Of men; {[W]e fear / [T]hey feared}: • [A]ll the people will stone us:

       [F]or they be persuaded that John was a prophet. • [F]or all men • {hold / counted} John, that he was a
prophet indeed. And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell • whence it was. • And Jesus
answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.

¶ And he began to speak unto them by parables. • But what think ye? A certain man had two

sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work today in my vineyard. He answered and said, I
will not: But afterward he repented, and went. And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he
