¶ W[hen] Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook
Cedron, where was a garden, • Then cometh Jesus with them into a place • {which was named / called}
Gethsemane, • [a]nd when he was at the place, • into the which he entered, and his disciples • he saith •
unto • his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall • go and pray yonder. • And Judas also, which betrayed
him, knew the place: [F]or Jesus oft times resorted thither with his disciples. • And he took with him
Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, • James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and • sorrowful
and very heavy. Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: [T]arry ye

was rose up from prayer, • he returned, • And he came • to his disciples, • and found them asleep again
• for sorrow, • (for there eyes were heavy,) • [a]nd said unto them, Why sleep ye? [R]ise and pray, lest
ye enter into temptation. • [N]either wist they what to answer him. • And he left them, and went away
again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. Then cometh he to his disciples, • the third
