MEKONG DELTA 01 DAY TRIP
MY THO - BEN TRE

Departure time: 8h00 am.
The Mekong Delta -“Nine Dragon river delta” is the region in Southwestern Vietnam
where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea through a network of
distributaries.
My Tho – Ben Tre which belongs to Me Kong Delta, is one of the most popular
destinations for travellers. Enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway
imparked by green rice fields. After a two- hour bus ride, you will reach My Tho and
get a motor-boat trip to Ben Tre. Then you will have a panoramic view of Mekong
River before visit some main places to feel the life of the friendly Southern
Vietnamese: Visit some islands to see the daily life of the local people.
(Dragon, Unicorn and Phoenix island). Arrive at a fruit garden. Enjoying the traditional
music of the Southern and eat tropical fruits. Treat yourself with honey tea and honey
wine at a bee farm. Moving on small canals by rowing boat. Visit the local coconut
candy workshop and you will know how they produce coconut candy.
Arrive back in Saigon about 17:00

MEKONG DELTA 01 DAY TRIP
CAI BE - VINH LONG
Departure time: 7:30 am.
This trip provides an over view of this typical Vietnam. On the way you can see green
paddy fields stretching towards the horizon (3 hours drive). After arrival in Cai Be, we
will on board for an exploration of lush vegetations of Mekong Delta and lively floating
market buyers bargaining. Next a rowing boat rides on the maze of shady canals to
arrive at a local orchard to enjoy the local tropical fruits and visit the daily activities
the handicraft villages of local people. Breaktime for lunch at the orchard fruit garden.
From here have a pleasant time riding bicycles to the villages, sightseeing or relaxing
on the hammock. Then continue on boat to Vinh Long city for a land market, the bus
will take you back to Saigon with a stop at Mekong Restop. Trip ends at Sai Gon
about 19:00.
