MEKONG DELTA 03 DAYS TRIP
MY THO - BEN TRE - CAN THO - CHAU DOC (OR EXITCAMBODIA)

Explore the Mekong River - the rice bowl of Viet Nam, travel by boat along these
canals and visit the floating markets, a truly memorable experience. Cruise through
the lush green vegetation of the Mekong canals to an orchird, where you are treated
to a delicious lunch complete with tropical fruits…
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho. (Departure time: 8h00
)
My Tho – Ben Tre lie on both sides of the Mekong River and is just one and a half
hour drive from the hustle of Ho Chi Minh City. Visitors will enjoy the cruise on the
Mekong River and then ride on a hand-rowed sampan through islets (Dragon,
Unicorn and Phoenix Islets) under a green canopy of water coconut trees to catch
a glimpse of the daily activities of the local people. A visit to the local garden and
enjoy the seasonal fruits, honey tea, honey wine, listening to the Traditional
South Folk Music, and coconut candy workshop. Transfer to Can Tho. Overnight
in Can Tho.
Homestay is optional, included dinner with local people, fan room only.
Day 2: Can Tho – Floating market – Chau Doc.
Early in the morning boat ride on the Mekong River to Cai Rang floating market.
Visit local village to see some small factories (rice paper, rice noodle…) and
experience how to pass a “Monkey Bridge” which is made of a single bamboo .Stop
for lunch. Proceed to Chau Doc to visit Tra Su Cajuput forest, getting to the wild birds
Sanctuary, cruising smoothly with a small boats to discover the arrays of splendid
canals, watching storks, cranes and other tropical birds.
On the way back passing by Sam mountain, the Caved Pagoda. Overnight at Chau
Doc.
Day 3: Chau Doc – Ho Chi Minh city.
Boat ride and visit floating fish farm, Cham ethnic minority village. Have lunch
in local restaurant. Come back to Ho Chi Minh City.
Option - Day 3: exit to Cambodia.
After breakfast, Transfer to a speed boat for the final part of the journey to Phnom
Penh. Arrive at Sissowath tourist dock in Phnom Penh at around 14:00.
Option 1: 02 Nights at Hotel

Option 2: 1 night homestay or bungalow,1 night hotel
Way 1: Come back to Saigon
Way 2: Fast boat to Cambodia.
**Including: A/C bus, accommodation (twin/double share), 1 lunch, 2 breakfasts,
drinking water, boat trips, English speaking guide, (boat ride to Phnom Penh).
