ROI+ SERVICE BULLETIN 12-11-2018 New User Interface for ROI+
  PROBLEM:
A “user interface” is the design of the screen(s) in a software program that allows a user to interact, or interface, with the software program. The original ROI+ user (Release 1.0) interface used tabs and links with labels such as ROI Requests, Dashboard, Patients, Requestors, Payments, Bulk Requests, esMD, etc. Over time, as ROI+ became more robust and design options and styles changed, the decision was made to update the “look, touch, and feel” of ROI+ to benefit users and provide them with a simpler, more efficient, and more visually pleasing user experience.
DETAILS / SOLUTION:
The tabs and links across the top of the main ROI Requests screen spanned two pages for some users who regularly interacted with esMD, payments, bulk requests, and e-Requests. All available menu items have been consolidated into a single drop-down menu design. Even users who never accessed the second screen of tabs will be provided a modernized look and a design that should enhance efficiency without removing any functionality.
Positioned above the tabs, there were layers of links for items such as the Dashboard, Admin, Audit, etc. These links are now easier to see and are placed across the top of the screen in logical menus or locations.
A “quick search” box has been added to the top left of the ROI Requests screen to enable the user to quickly and easily search all active requests by patient name, patient date of birth, or Request ID number. If the user is on the Multi-Provider screen when using Quick Search, this search of active requests will be conducted across all ROI+ accounts that the user has access to.
The next two pages provide screenshots and brief descriptions of the new ROI+ interface (Release 2.0).
