ROI+ SERVICE BULLETIN 07-09-2018 Update EMSI Request Type - IMPORTANT UPDATE!
PROBLEM:
All requests from EMSI, no matter how minor the reference to EMSI is, should be classified as an “EMSI” request type when logging a new request into ROI+. If you do not choose the EMSI request type, then requests will not be available to the entire EMSI organization using a single ROI+ Account Number and PIN. This will create confusion for you and for EMSI. There is only one fax number to be used for EMSI: 877.393.6910. This is per a longstanding agreement with EMSI for any and all ROI+ requests.
DETAILS:
Prior to this Service Bulletin Update, it was possible to enter a new Requestor that had “EMSI” contained in the Requestor name. This is no longer possible. In addition, it was previously possible to enter new contacts for the EMSI master account. This is also no longer possible.
IMPORTANT: There is now only ONE Requestor entry for EMSI in the Requestor database. NOTE: Make sure that you do not attempt to enter a new Requestor with “EMSI” anywhere in the name and do not attempt to enter new contacts for the existing EMSI master requestor. If you attempt either of these entries, you will receive an error message and be instructed to use the existing EMSI Request Type.
For any request from EMSI, choose the EMSI Request Type. It does
not ma;er if an insurance company or other en=ty is also listed on the request.
Note: The Requestorand Contact fields wiilllallwaayyssssaayy, ,““EEMSSI I
Master Account”and“EMSIIMaasstteerr Contact.” These cannotbechanged..
Per our agreement with EMSI, the only fax number is the Waco, TX
fax number. Simply refer EMSI callers to the EMSI Waco office if they ask you
to send an invoice elsewhere.
