Observance of Pledge at SBBJ : Vigilance Awareness Week

Observance of the Vigilance Awareness Week commenced
with a programme at Head Office of the SBBJ. The week
will be observed in all the Branches / Offices of the Bank
during which talks by the eminent speakers will be
organized on the theme of 'Preventive Vigilance as a tool
of Good Governance'.

The pledge was administered to the Officers / Employees
by the Managing Director Shri Jyoti Ghosh during an
inaugural function of the above. The Chief General
Manager(RB) Shri S. Venkataraman, Chief General
Manager(CB) Shri V. Srinivasan and General manager(R &
IR) Shri K.K.Das were also present in this programme.

The Messages received from the honorable President, Vice-
Presdent, Prime Minister and the Chief Vigilance Commissioner were also read out.

Private Banker International has announced the winners for
its PBI Wealth Awards 2015

Private Banker International (PBI), the leading journal for the global wealth management industry has announced the
winners for the Global Wealth Awards 2015, in conjunction with the 25th Global Wealth Summit. The award winners
were announced and presented at the Awards Gala Dinner on 16th October 2015 at The Fullerton Hotel, Singapore.

Vijaya Bank launches Hindi
Website

Vijaya Bank, A Prime Nationalised Bank launched Hindi website.
The website was launched on the occasion of Hindi Day
Celebration by The Joint Secretary, Govt. Of India, Ministry of
Home Affairs, Smt. Poonam Juneja in presence of Executive
Director of Bank Sri. K R Shenoy and Guest of Honour Sri
Harendra Kumar, Director, Ministry of Home Affairs. On the
occasion executive Director Mr . K R Shenoy released a book "
Vivida" . Smt Juneja appreciated Vijaya Bank for their path
breaking initiatives in promoting technology with Hindi.
