Convenes 80th, State Level

Bankers Committee
(SLBC)meeting

Oriental Bank of Commerce, Convenor, State Level Bankers
Committee (SLBC),Delhi State conducted its 80th meeting
on 21.08.2015 at New Delhi. The meeting was chaired by
Sh. Suresh N Patel, Executive Director, Oriental Bank of
Commerce (3rd from left). Also seen in the picture (L to R)
are Sh. Pallav Mohapatra, CGM, SBI, Sh. Sewa Ram Mehar,
Deputy Secretary, DFS, MoF, GoI, Smt. Rachna Dikshit, GM
(FIDD), RBI, Shri A. K. Mohanty, GM, NABARD, Shri Navleen
Kundra, GM/ Convenor, SLBC Delhi State.

Launch of MUDRA Card by Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC)

Oriental Bank of Commerce, a leading Public Sector Bank
launched "MUDRA Card" for micro entrepreneurs to meet
their credit requirements. The Card was launched by Dr.
Kshatrapati Shivaji, IAS, CMD, SIDBI & Chairman, MUDRA,
in the gracious presence of Sh. Animesh Chauhan, MD &
CEO, OBC, Sh. Arnab Roy, Regional Director, RBI and Sh.
Jiji Mammen, CEO, MUDRA.

MUDRA Card, issued as a Rupay Debit Card, is a hassle
free flexible credit product that meets the working capital
needs of Micro Entrepreneurs. Cash can be withdrawn
from any ATM or purchases of merchandise can be done
using POS machines.

Hon'ble Prime Minister has launched MUDRA Scheme with
an aim to fund micro/small entrepreneurs engaged in all non-farm sector income generating activities such as
manufacturing, trading and services whose credit needs are up to Rs.10 lakh.

SBBJ Provides Rs. 1.00 Crore to Chief Minister Relief Fund

Managing Director of SBBJ Shri Jyoti Ghosh has handed over a cheque
of Rs. 1.00 Crore to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan towards providing
assistance for the recent flood affected people of various districts of
the state. He also briefed about various activities being conduct by
bank during current financial year in Govt. Schools including drinking
water facility in 100 schools in Jhalawar district, electricity facility in
50 schools in Ajmer district approximately & constructed 80 toilets in
various schools of Rajasthan.

Chief Minister has appreciated the contribution made by the bank.
Chief General Manager of the bank, Mr. V. Srinivasan was also present
on the occasion.
