Mr G. Padmanabhan appointed as non-executive Chairman of BOI

Mr G. Padmanabhan has been appointed as non-executive Chairman of BOI . Prior to his appointment
Mr. Padmanabhan was ED of Reserve Bank of India and was looking after Department of information
and Technology, Department of Payment and Settlement and Foreign Exchange. He had been appointed
for the period of three years.

A K Jha         Mr A K Jha appointed as Interim CMD of NTPC

                Mr A K Jha on 1st September 2015, has been appointed as the Interim Chairman G. Padmanabhan
                & Managing Director (CMD) of National Thermal Power Corporation Limited
                (NTPC). Although, he will continue to hold the post of Director (Technical), NTPC. Mr A K Jha succeeded
                Arup Roy Choudhury, who retired on 1st September 2015. Mr Jha is a graduate in Mechanical
                Engineering from BIT Sindri, Ranchi University and holds LLB from the Delhi University.

                Mr Jha has a rich and varied experience of 38 years in areas spanning across power projects such
                as design and engineering, project planning and monitoring and construction.

Mr O P Rawat appointed as Election Commissioner of India                                                   O P Rawat

Mr Om Prakash Rawat,1977 batch of Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer of Madhya Pradesh
cadre,was on 13th August 2015 appointed as the Election Commissioner of India. His appointment will
come into effect from the day he assumes office. With Rawat's appointment, the sole vacancy in the
three-member poll body has been filled. Mr Rawat will have tenure of more than three years which
will end in December 2018. He had retired from government service in December 2014. During his
career, he had served as Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises in the Ministry of Heavy Industries.
Earlier he had served with two chief ministers as their principal secretary.

Raghav Chandra  Mr Raghav Chandra appointed as the Chairman of NHAI

                Chandra is an IAS officer of the 1982 batch from Madhya Pradesh cadre. He has held several
                important positions in the central government and the government of Madhya Pradesh and has
                handled various crucial assignments in roads and transport sector in various capacities.

                Earlier, he was the Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation and
                later served as the Joint Secretary of Highways in Union Ministry of Road Transport & Highways. He
                has vast experience in field of urban development, commerce, industry, human resource development,
                finance and infrastructure development.

Ms Usha Ananthasubramanian appointed as the MD & CEO of                                                            Usha

Punjab National bank

Punjab National bank appoints Ms Usha Ananthasubramanian as the Managing Director & CEO.
Prior to joining the Bank, she was Chairman & Managing Director of Bharatiya Mahila Bank. During
the period from July 2011 to November 2013, she was the Executive Director of Punjab National Bank.
She was part of the Committee formed for examination of the blue print and other related tasks for
setting up of the first women focused Bank in India and headed the core management team constituted
by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, for coordinating the process of establising of
Bhartiya Mahila Bank. In a career spanning over 33 years, she has worked in various positions and
acquired vast versatile banking experience.
