for transit between place of purchase and place
of stabling. For non scheme animals the distance
should be less than 80kms.
(ii) In case of transfer of animals during the currency
of the policy, transit cover can be extended to the
new owner within the distance of 80km without any
additional cost.
(ii) If the distance to transit is more than 80km, an
additional premium of 1% is to be charged for transit
by rail or road, but not by foot.

Exclusions :
(A) Common Exclusions :
(i) Malicious or willful injury or neglect, overloading,

unskillful treatment or use of animal for purpose
other than stated in the policy without the consent
of the Insurer in writing.
(ii) Accidents occurring and/ or diseases contracted
prior to the commencement of the policy.
(iii) International animal slaughter except in cases where
destruction is necessary to terminate incurable
sufferings based on humane considerations and
