Michael Farrell

Co-founder/Director

Michael (Mike) Farrell is co-founder and director of
Mantra Protection Solutions Limited, and CEO of
Mantra Operations Solution Limited based in the
United Kingdom.

In these roles, he provides a full range of security
and risk management services to both domestic and
international clients, with special focus on
protecting people and assets in high‐risk
environments. Mike serves as a regional subject
matter expert for companies operating in or
entering into West African and Middle Eastern
markets.

He works closely with clients to help them evaluate market entry opportunities and associated risk
factors, and to implement operational plans and mitigation measures that maximize business and
financial performance.

Prior to co-founding MPSL, Mike worked at the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company,
Afren plc., where he was responsible for its Security programs. In this role, he oversaw all Security
policy and program development through to implementation stage. This enabled a safe and
successful commercial operation in hostile and challenging environments.

Before joining Afren, Mike was the Global Security Operations Manager for ExxonMobil
Corporation, a senior executive position responsible for managing global programs including
Security and Safety interfaces across all functional business lines for Upstream, Downstream and
Chemicals companies.
