DE Camp

DE Camp is a fun and exciting camp and
happening every year during the semester break.
The objective of the camp is for the campers to
collect as many marbles as possible. Marbles are
given out by crew members or camp chiefs for
their effort in different areas like cheering, games
and protecting their flags. In addition, this camp

allows interaction between the different courses
and allow them to make new friends from different
courses. For the new year 1s, it is to let them
have a taste of our very own DE culture and enjoy
fun and exciting games. Games includes amazing
races and obstacles course. Something that one
may look forward to is the cheering time, campers
are all required to cheer loudly while they perform
related actions to their cheers. Some are even
required to come out with their own cheers on the
spot and hence taking it on to a whole new level!
Overall, DE camps have always brought a lot of
joy to our freshies throughout the years and we
are glad DE is continuing this annual event.

DE EVENTS

DE Captain's Ball

DE Captain’s Ball is an annual event organised by members

of the DE society main committee. The main goal of this
event is to provide a platform for bonding between the DE
faculty as well as to encourage healthy lifestyle among
students. Compared to the Camp, this event is of a smaller
scale where there are lesser participants. However, one can
still get to meet people within the faculty and make new
friends. Participants form their own teams and play against
other teams in a game of captain’s ball. The event is
competition based and teams fight to be the champion of this
competition. The top 3 teams of the competition are given
attractive prizes and each member of the team gets a prize.
All in all, this event provide opportunities to meet new people
as well as bond with those that you already know. It is an
interesting and exciting event to look forward to, and we

hope that this event will happen every year.
