                                                                                    SEPTEMBER 8
                     18 And it shall come to pass in that day And rejoice in Rezin and in Remaliah’s
                        That the LORD will whistle for the fly   son;
                        That is in the farthest part of the rivers 7 Now therefore, behold, the Lord
                           of Egypt, brings up over them
                        And for the bee that is in the land of The waters of the River, strong and
                           Assyria.                              mighty—
                     19  They will come, and all of them will rest  The king of Assyria and all his glory;
                        In the desolate valleys and in the clefts He will go up over all his channels
                           of the rocks, And go over all his banks.
                        And on all thorns and in all pastures. 8 He will pass through Judah,
                                                               He will overflow and pass over,
                     20 In the same day the Lord will shave
                           with a hired razor,                 He will reach up to the neck;
                        With those from beyond the River, And the stretching out of his wings
                                                               Will fill the breadth of Your land,
                           with the king of Assyria,
                        The head and the hair of the legs, O Immanuel.
                        And will also remove the beard. 9 “Be shattered, O you peoples, and be
                                                                 broken in pieces!
                     21 It shall be in that day
                        That a man will keep alive a young cow Give ear, all you from far countries.
                                                               Gird yourselves, but be broken in
                           and two sheep;
                     22  So it shall be, from the abundance of   pieces;
                           milk they give, Gird yourselves, but be broken in
                                                                 pieces.
                        That he will eat curds; 10 Take counsel together, but it will come
                        For curds and honey everyone will eat    to nothing;
                           who is left in the land.
                                                               Speak the word, but it will not stand,
                     23 It shall happen in that day, For God is with us.”
