Luncheons It’s hard to believe that summer has quickly come to an end and fall is already here. Since our
last newsletter, the Chapter has been hard at work putting on numerous programs and events
CREW Events and planning for the coming year. In addition, the 2019 Board of Directors was announced in
August and we are thrilled to have an amazing group of women leading this chapter into our
Professional Development 40th Anniversary year.
Community Action We can’t thank you enough for your continued support as a CREW DC sponsor. It is because
CREW EDU of you that we can continue to provide networking and educational opportunities for our
members, further the professional development of women in all phases of commercial real

Marijuana and CRE: A Pipe Dream?

In the cannabis commercial real estate (CRE) market, managing
your risk is essential. Companies that “touch the plant” can reap
big rewards, but they take on even bigger risks. At the CREW
DC luncheon, Chanda Macias of WomenGrow explained
