FOR THE THIRD TIME IN 23 YEARS, REDS MURDER A
PRIME MINISTER OF SPAIN

Eduardo Dato became Prime Minister of Spain for the first time in 1913. In
1915, he left that position, but would return to it for a short while in 1917, and

then, for a third time in 1920.

On March 8, 1921 in Madrid, while being driven from the parliament building
and in front, Dato was assassinated by three anarchists, Lluís Nicolau, Pere
Mateu, and Ramon Casanelles, who were riding a motorcycle.

1 & 2-Dato was killed in a motorcycle drive-by shooting.
