MEETING ORGANIZATION AND ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT
Organizational and administrative support was provided by Evelyne Van Heck and Carole McCutcheon with additional assistance from Jill Higgs-Buscemi, Patricia Taylor, James Edge, Sebastian Evans and Astid Agostini. Selvaggia Santin,
Mauro Buonocore, and Lucia Luperto from Fondazione CMCC (Italy) took charge of travel and accommodation assistance for the sponsored participants.
The sessions were chaired by: Rene Castro-Salazar (FAO), Craig Hanson (World Resource Institute), Petr Havlik (IIASA), Eduardo Mansur (FAO), Christopher Martius (CIFOR), Erik Patrick (IFAD), Riccardo Valentini (University of Tuscia),
David Reay (University of Edinburgh), Richard Thomas (ICARDA), Giovanna Valverde (Minister Counselor, Costa Rica); and Robert Vos (FAO). The session rapporteurs included: Manuel Barange (FAO), Lorenzo Bellu (FAO), Martial Bernoux (FAO), Margaret Gill (University of Aberdeen), Adriana Ignaciuk (FAO), Alexandre Meybeck (FAO), Hayden Montgomery (GRA), Douglas Muchoney (FAO), Seo Niggol (Muaebak Institute of Global Warming Studies), Andy Reisinger (NZARGC/IPCC), Henning Steinfeld (FAO) and Olcay Unver (FAO). The meeting session notes and summary reports were prepared by Valentina Conti, Krystal Crumpler, Uwe Grewer, Elizabeth Laval, Felix Marttin, Anne Mottet, Marc Mueller, Carolyn Opio, Antonio Scognamillo, and Emilie Wieben from FAO. Session chairs, rapporteurs and note takers ensured timely communication of session note summaries to participants during the EM coordinated by Aziz Elbehri and Evelyne Van Heck.
The EM also owed its smooth and problem-free proceedings to the excellent technical support from the Meeting-Services Unit, which provided messengers and IT technical support, photography coverage, audio recording and web streaming.
Margie Peters-Fawcett and Fergus Mulligan copy edited the report and Rita Ashton formatted and designed the document.
