French Streaktovegas Dies
French Streaktovegas (A Streak Of Fling-PC Frenchmans Flirt, Sun Frost) died at the age of 13 in November 2020. The 2007 stallion earned in excess of $74,000 and was a BFA Derby World Champion and a multiple Futurity and Pro Rodeo Champion. He is the sire of over $330,000 in barrel money earners, including 2020 Ruby Buckle Champion RV Two Dash Ta Vegas.
Mister Riptide Euthanized
Mister Riptide (Woodbridge-Ms Riptide, Ocean Runaway) was injured in his Nov. 7 trial to the Texas Classic Derby-G1 at Lone Star Park and was euthanized. The 2017 sorrel gelding
was bred by MJ Farms and owned by Mark and Annette McCloy. Mister Riptide won the 2019 Zia Futurity-G1, 2020 Zia Derby-G2, was second by a neck in the 2019 All American Futurity-G1 and a finalist in the Mountain Top New Mexico Futurity-G2. In all, Mister Riptide earned $748,298 in his two-season career.
