Despite the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the qualifying races (Sept. 3-4) and semifinals (Oct. 17) were held,
so that the six finalists who will run in the final and consolation on Nov. 29, under the autho- rized health conditions, are already in place.
In the qualifying rounds, 106 of the 107 registered horses participated, organized in 36

This gelding had his last race in the United States at Remington Park on April 25, 2020, before entering Mexico, specifically the State of Tamaulipas, where Cuadra La Estrella is located. The gelding left a record of 10(5)-3(2)-2(1) in 26 starts and earnings of $286,567. His most notable successes include victories in Governor’s Stakes, Indiana Grand QHRAI Derby and the Indiana Championship the latter on Oct. 27, 2018.
In the first stage of the maturity, he won the third trial on Sept. 3 and the first semifinal of the six semi finals, by 3/4-length over DM Red Dirt (“El Camarón”).

At the beginning as a two year old, the filly was a finalist in the futurities Chiapas and Javier Rosique Palavicini (unofficial), in Chiapas and Tabasco, under the name of “La Emperatriz”.
At the end of 2016, she made her debut at the Hipodromo de las Americas, winning both
her trial and final of the Youth Championship. Since then, she has forged a career to which she added her victories in the classics Chirina Glorys (twice), José Merced Gómez Orozco, Inaugural and Speed (by disqualification of Brabus), as well as in the AMCM Championship. She was named American Adult Champion of the 2018 season at the Hipodromo de las Americas, by the AMCCCCM.
Her last official out was on March 8, 2020, before traveling to Satevó, Chihuahua for Rancho El Suspiro, although she belongs to the Cuadra San Judas Tadeo.
Her record is 8-5-2 in 19 outs to the track, with earnings close to 2.6 million pesos. In the last few years she has been

I know her capabilities, her courage and she will reach the final like never before,” commented Morales Sosa.
