1993 Champion Two Year Old, Champion Two-Year-Old Colt A Classic Dash (First Down Dash-Classic Canyon, Dusty Canyon TB)
died in October at the age of 29. Bred by H.G. Stevenson and racing for Abigail Kawananakoa, the 1991 sorrel horse was trained by Connie Hall and ridden by Eddie Garcia. Competing only as a two year old, A Classic Dash won seven of eight starts and earned $1,078,617 winning his trials to and the finals of the All American Futurity-G1 and Dash For Cash Futurity-G1. A Classic Dash is the sire of nearly $7 million, including 2003 Champion Aged Mare Royaltime Classic.

2019 Champion Aged Stallion Admiral Sting (Apollitical Jess-Sting Scorpion Sting, Strawfly Special) died. The 2015 sorrel horse was mak-
ing his first start of the year on opening day at Remington Park in the March 6 Mighty Deck Three Stakes-RG2 when he wheeled and lost his rider near the start. He was taken to Oklahoma State University Veterinary Medical Hospital and suffered a seizure that led to his death. Admiral Sting, who earned $195,006 winning the 2019 Mr Jet Moore Stakes-G2, Two Rivers Stakes-G3 and Mighty Deck Three Stakes-G3, was bred and owned by Jahree Standridge and trained by Eddie D. Willis.

Cartels Candy Man (Corona Cartel-This Candys Special, Strawfly Special) was euthanized on Feb. 17. The bay stallion placed second twice from three starts for owner/breeder Carl Pevehouse. Cartels Candy Man is the sire of multiple blacktype run- ners and nearly $1 million in earnings. PV Queen Bee Candy is his best performer with earnings
of $179,791, winning the FL Lady Bug Stakes at Remington Park. Cartels Candy Man was stand- ing at Lazy E Ranch in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
CASSANDRA CREST
Cassandra Crest (Holland Ease-Diamond For Leigh, Cameronian) was euthanized the end of July. The 2011 mare, who was bred and owned
by Danny Joe Miller, is a multiple stakes-placed winner as well as a multiple Graded stakes finalist that earned $75,671. Cassandra Crest is the dam of 3-time Champion Apocalyptical Jess ($2,204,240), stakes winner CC Seis ($90,742), and Grade 1 stakes placed winner CC Kachina Eagle ($133,568).

Dashair (First Down Dash-Such An Easy Effort, Special Effort) died at the age of 19. Bred by Gentry Brothers, the 2001 sorrel stallion earned $37,134 winning three races and was a multiple Graded stakes finalist in the Rainbow Futurity-G1 and West/Southwest Derby Challenge-G3. Dashair is the sire of multiple blacktype run-
ners from limited starters with over $2.6 million in earners, including top earner Especially Tres ($385,380). Dashair was owned by Jami Johnson.
