Eyesa Country Miss was named Oklahoma Hi-Point Aged Mare in 2006. She is the dam of eight money earners from as many starters.

2019 World Champion, Champion Aged Gelding, Champion Aged Horse He Looks Hot (Walk Thru Fire-Look Her Over, Check Him Out) died after suffering an irrecoverable bout of colic. Bred and owned by Dr. Edward C. Allred and trained by Scott Willoughby, He Looks Hot had undergone colic surgery four times. Following his last surgery, He Looks Hot suffered another bout and could
not be saved. He Looks Hot earned $1,618,055. The 2012 gelding made 34 career starts and won 14 races and eight stakes events, including the Champion of Champions-G1, Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity-G1, Spencer L. Childers California Breeders’ Championship-G1 (twice), Robert L. Boniface Los Alamitos Invitational Championship-G1, and Vessels Maturity-G1.
HEZA RAMBLIN MAN
Heza Ramblin Man (Takin On The Cash-Kiptys Kisses, Kipty Charger) died in September. The 1993 chestnut gelding, who was bred by Ellen Kennedy and raced by Walter Fletcher, won 16 of 51 starts and earned $750,907. Among his 10 stakes victories are the AQHA Juvenile Challenge Championship-G1

JOYOUS EYES
The 1998 mare Joyous Eyes (Mr Eye Opener- Joyous Bug, Bugs Alive In 75) was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting on June 3 at the home of breeder/owner Dolores Hill in Moore, Oklahoma. Joyous Eyes won one race and earned her ROM on the track, and then moved to the barrel arena where she earned an additional $23,760. She is the dam of 100% money earners/ROM and is from the family of multiple race and barrel winners, including stakes winner Joyous Bug ($58,183).
LITTLE SURFER
Champion producer Little Surfer (First Down Dash-Runaway Wave, Runaway Winner) died from complications of melanomas on Aug. 13. Bred by Lucas Racing Inc., the 2006 mare was owned by Keith Nellesen’s McColee Land and Livestock. Little Surfer won five of 21 starts and earned $102,749 winning the Lone Star Distaff Challenge and Hialeah Derby. A full sister to World Champion Wave Carver and Champion Ocean Runaway, Little Surfer is the dam of 19 starters and over $1.2 million in earners including 2-time 2019 Champion Uncle D (2020, $689,165).
