His dam, Zoom To The Money enjoyed
a solid career at the racetrack. A 7-time winner from 21 trips to the post, Zoom To The Money captured the 2008 Mile High Futurity-G2 at Arapahoe Park and went on to win the 2010 Dash for Speed Stakes, as well as the Rocky Mountain Championship, both also at Arapahoe Park, en route to lifetime earnings of $107,222.
Laddie Futurity runner-up Apollitical Tornado (Apollitical Blood-A Real Tornado), a winner of his previous two outings, fin- ished a game second under jockey Luciano Duenez. Rubios Landscaping owns the sorrel gelding and Wendy Garcia trains the 2-time winner who broke his maiden in his second lifetime start before defeating TF Jess Me
in his trial dash. Bought for $8,000 at the LQHBA Yearling Sale, Apollitical Tornado was bred in Louisiana by Narciso Flores.
TDZ Royal Runaway (Sir Runaway Dash-Thequeenhasgonenuts) and jockey Bobby Ransom rallied late to finish third for owner/breeder Tony Doughtie and trainer Kenneth Roberts Sr. The gray gelding
won his previous pair of starts. He was a 1 3/4-length winner of his trial heat, which fol- lowed a 1 3/4-length maiden-breaking win at Louisiana Downs March 28. He finished a
rallying third in his career debut on March 6 at Louisiana Downs where he was beaten by Laddie Futurity rival Ultimo Alex.
TF Jess Me (One Sweet Jess-Miss Mallard Too), Jess Louisiana (Jess Louisiana Blue-Elly Mae), Put Me N Coach (Carters
Cartel-Allizoom), Magic Bux (Zoomin for Bux-Black Magic Mountain), Ultimo Alex (Inseperable-Cindys First CD) and Guidrys Credit Card (Apollitical Blood-Guidrys Boodie Doo) completed the order of finish. JRS One Sweet Gator was scratched.
