consigned Ezee Monee, who is by One Fabulous Eagle, to the 2021 Heritage Place Yearling Sale, where David Rogers bought her for $40,000.
Cartel Regards has produced seven winners from nine starters, including Apollitical Regard, winner of the 2017 Jaguar Rocket Futurity; Extermynator, winner of the 2022 Heartland Futurity and Horseshoe Indianapolis Juvenile Challenge; and Flyght
Song, who finished second in the 2022 Speedhorse Futurity-G3 and third in the 2023 Speedhorse Derby. The second dam is Champion First Regards, who also produced three stakes-placed runners.
Gentry Farms’ homebred Fearless Moon (First Moonflash-Heartbeat) ran second for jockey Sergio Becerra Jr. and trainer John Stinebaugh. The filly earlier this year ran third to Ezee Money in the Rainbow Oaks.
Cartel Kisses (Kiss My Hocks-Midnight Cartel), owned by Larry and Bobbie Rice,
finished third. Rodrigo Vallejo rode the filly for trainer Heath Taylor. Cartel Kisses won this year’s Los Alamitos Oaks-G1 and two stakes last year.
Completing the field were Jes An Angel (Jess Zoomin-Ms Kates Angel), One Perfect Lady (Bogart-The Perfect Eagle), Curls Joyful Wagon (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Eye A Spit Curl Girl), Streaks Of Power (Power Jam- TB-Streaks Of Ivory), Cool Ya Jets (Jet Black Patriot-McM On Thin Ice), Political Royalty (Apollitical Jess-Trendi), and Apollitical Chick V (Apollitical Jess-Me Chickie).
