The Burns Ranch in Menifee, California, is an equine reproduction and embryo transfer facility that has become an impor- tant source of Quarter Horse racing genetics under the direction of owner Dr. Steve Burns. This noteworthy breeding program has become successful over the years while standing such stallions as Hawkinson, Separatist, TR Dasher, Snowbound,
Stel Corona, Foose, Walk Thru Fire and Favorite Cartel. The success of Burns Ranch stallions is highlighted by Walk Thru
Fire, who has worked his way up the ranks to become the #5 all-time leading sire of money earners with his foals winning over $38 million - and they are still running. Their current stallion roster includes not only Favorite Cartel and Foose, but also Seperate Interest, Jess Being Valiant
and Fly Thru The Fire.

When Dr. Steve Burns started his professional life, he was fulfilling his career objective to become a veterinarian, and he did it by being involved in the family tradi- tion of horse racing. The records show that Dr. Burns has attained his career goals not only as a veterinarian, but he has become an AQHA all-time leading breeder of money earners of over $18 million. He is also listed on the AQHA all-time leading owners of money earners list with over $3 million.
