1995 AQHA World Champion; Okey Dokey Dale, the 1999 AQHA Champion 3-Year- Old Colt; Silvered Eyes, the 2003 AQHA Champion 3-Year-Old Gelding; Country Chicks Man, the 2006 AQHA Champion Aged Stallion; and Ze Dancer, the 2009 AQHA Mexico Champion Quarter Horse.
Zevi is by Cornish Prince by Bold Ruler. The dam of Cornish Prince is Teleran by Eight Thirty, a source of speed. The dam of Zevi is Spire by Carry Back and Spire is out of Torrecilla by Sideral. Zevi is another one of those Thoroughbreds to have no com- mon ancestors in the first four generations of his pedigree.
Shine On Moon, the dam of Im Moonlighting, was bred by Constance Miller. This mare won only one of her 11 starts, with one second and two thirds earn- ing $309. She is the dam of 13 foals with eight starters earning six ROM and one stakes winner. They earned $80,510. Her stakes winner is Long Gone Zevi, winner
of the 1997 Great Northern Maturity and a full brother to Im Moonlighting. Beside Im Moonlighting, Shine On Moon is also the dam of additional stakes finalist Luzianne, who was sixth in the 1983 Miss Betty Stakes.
Shine On Moon is by Top Moon, who
is by Moon Deck and out of Rica Bar by Barred. Top Moon is also the sire of Lady Bug’s Moon, who is the sire of Rose Bug,
the dam of First Prize Rose, the dam of First Down Dash, the sire of Holland Ease, the sire of Corona Cartel, the sire of Remember Me Rose. The dam of Shine On Moon is the unraced mare Cedell, who was also bred by Constance Miller. This mare is the dam of 13 foals with six starters earning four ROM. Her leading money winner is Harry Bug by Lady Bug’s Moon, who was a finalist in the 1976 Blue Ribbon Futurity.
Cedell is by Clabber Bar by Three Bars TB. Clabber Bar is out of Peggy N by Clabber. Cedell is out of Vandy Lou Miller, who earned $1,755 and was third in the 1962 Southeastern Oklahoma Derby. She is the dam of three starters with one ROM in Three Crowns.
The pedigree of Vandy Lou Miller is
an interesting one. She is by Vandy by Going Light TB and Vandy is out of Jean Ann Blair by the Thoroughbred Joe Blair. The dam of Vandy Lou Miller is Gloria Lohman, who was purchased by Miller and is where she started this line of mares. Gloria Lohman is by Leo and her dam is a daughter of Zantanon. The Leo blood and the Jean Ann Blair blood gives this mare a breeding pattern of 3x5x5 to Joe Blair, the sire of Joe Reed P-3 who was the sire of Joe Reed II and Little Fanny, the sire and dam of Leo.
In addition to Remember Me Rose, Im Moonlighting is also the dam of:
MLA Rodeorose, who won wins the 1997 North Multiple stakes finalist Im Rare #8, shown second in Texas Horse Sale Futurity-G3. the 1997 Speedhorse Gold & Silver Cup Derby-G3.
    BREEDING PATTERNS
When we started our look at Remember Me Rose, we noted that she didn’t carry any common ancestors in her five-generation pedigree. When we look at her produce record, we will see how that plays into her ability to cross with a number of stallions, giving some interesting breeding patterns. Remember Me Rose has 27 foals, 15 start- ers/ROM, four stakes winners, two stakes placed runners and two stakes finalists by four different stallions.
We will begin with her first foal, a
filly named Tessta Rossa by Azoom. She
is a stakes winner in the 2016 Kisses To Yawl Handicap that earned $52,372. Her second starter and second foal is Jabulani
by Azoom. He was fourth in the 2013 Sam Houston Derby-G3 and earned $23,710. When we look at the pedigree of these two runners, we see that Azoom is by Shazoom by Takin On The Cash by Dash For Cash. The dam of Takin On The Cash is Take You On by Easy Jet. The dam of Azoom is Chrystalinas by Beduino TB. This is the Dash For Cash/Easy Jet/Beduino cross. Remember Me Rose shows us some more of that cross through her sire Corona Cartel
by Holland Ease by First Down Dash by Dash For Cash. Holland Ease is out of Easy Henryetta by Easy Jet. Corona Cartel, being out of Corona Chick by Chicks Beduino by Beduino, gives her pedigree the same cross of Dash For Cash/Easy Jet/Beduino and that is a linebreeding pattern for this great nick between these three stallions.
Intense Fire by Walk Thru Fire is the next stakes winner out of Remember Me Rose, winning the 2018 First Down Dash
Derby with earnings of $74,278. Remember The Rose is next from this cross and she is a multiple stakes finalist including in the 2017 Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity-G1. She has earned $63,836. The third runner from this cross is race winner Monster Hand with $13,767 in earnings. The fourth runner from this cross is Allyson Felix, a race win- ner of $15,086. Walk Thru Fire is by First Down Dash by Dash For Cash and out of Sweet Beduino by Beduino TB. The dam
of Sweet Beduino is Sweet Game by Game Plan by Easy Jet. This is another Dash For Cash/Beduino/Easy Jet cross, and when we add the Dash For Cash/Beduino/Easy Jet cross from Remember Me Rose, we get a similar pattern like we found in the runners out of Azoom in that it is linebreeding to the Dash For Cash/Beduino/Easy Jet cross.
Remember To Dash is the next runner
we will look at out of Remember Me Rose. This mare earned $68,037 and was a multiple stakes finalist in the 2017 Ed Burke Million Futurity-G1, the Golden State Million Futurity-G1 and a stakes placed runner in the California Breeders’ Freshman Stakes, all in 2017. Remember To Dash is a full sister
to Yippie Yi Yo, a money earner of $2,712 with four seconds and one third in 10 starts. Remember To Dash is by First Down Dash and, being out of Remember Me Rose by Corona Cartel by Holland Ease by First Down Dash, this gives us a breeding pattern of 1x4 to First Down Dash. The only other duplication of ancestors in the pedigrees of these two runners is a breeding pattern of 4x5x5 to the collateral brothers Jet Deck and Top Moon, both by Moon Deck and out of daughters of Barred by Three Bars TB.
