The pedigree of Remember Me Rose is
an interesting one in that she has many great ancestors, but at the same time she has no duplication of those ancestors in her five-gen- eration pedigree. We see that her sire Corona Cartel, the #2 all-time leading sire of money winners, has a similar situation in that he has only the duplication of one ancestor with his 5x4x5 breeding pattern to Jet Deck. Then we pull up the pedigree of Im Moonlighting, the dam of Remember Me Rose, and see that the only duplication of an ancestor in this mare’s pedigree comes through her dam who has a breeding pattern of 4x3 to Three Bars. This tells us the Remember Me Rose has a hybrid type of pedigree, and we will see how that plays into her produce record after a closer look at her pedigree.
