  IZERIGHT
Gaylon McGee’s Izeright, a homebred gray or roan son of Right Rigger, extended his winning streak to three with his victory in the August
1, $50,000 Road Runner Stakes (R) for New Mexico-bred 3-year-olds.
Izeright crossed the wire second, a neck behind Awesome Storm. However, a stewards’ inquiry resulted in the disqualification of Awesome
Storm from first to second, as Awesome Storm drifted out and brushed Izeright near the finish line. Ridden by Miguel Perez, Izeright earned
the $30,000 winner’s share of the purse from his second career stakes score.
Izeright is one of 13 winners from 24 starters sired by Right Rigger, a 15-year-old Kentucky- bred son of 1995 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Stakes (G1) winner Unbridled’s Song. A half-brother
to two stakes-placed runners, Right Rigger has sired four official black-type stakes winners and the earners of more than $1.5 million from eight crops, including stakes winners Rig Time, Ten Penny Cents, and Tea Light.Right Rigger entered stud in 2011. The stallion is owned by Susan A. Hunter and stands for a $3,500 fee at Hunter Creek Farms at Roswell, New Mexico.
Izeright is out of Vowsmakemeblush, a win- ning 15-year-old daughter of the Fappiano stallion Desert God who has foaled two winners from as many starters.
The gelding’s second dam, the unplaced Kentucky-bred Farma Way mare Bilijen, foaled two winners from three starters, including Jengoneby, a winning full-sister to Vowsmakemeblush who ran third in the 2011 Russell & Helen Foutz Distaff Stakes (R) at SunRay Park.
Izeright traces back to his third dam, Final Vows, an unraced Halo mare. Final Vows pro- duced eight winners from 12 starters, including Mighty Magee, a half-brother to Bilijen who won the 1996 Aqueduct Handicap (G3) in New York.
Izeright was shortening in distance off of his 2 1/4-length win in the 6 1/2-furlong, $55,000 Dine Stakes (R) for state-bred sophomores at SunRay Park on May 30. Unraced at 2, the gelding has won three of six races and has earned $79,397.

and Digger’s Gold.
Runner-up Awesome Storm banked $10,000
for his owners, Fincher Racing LLC and Norman W. Allen. A dark bay or brown son of the Indian Charlie stallion Awesome Indian and a $15,000 yearling purchase at the 2019 New Mexico-Bred Sale, the gelding has won two of five races and has earned $40,530.
Cheese Tray races for J. Kirk and Judy Robison of El Paso, Texas. The homebred Attila’s Storm colt has won two of nine outs and has banked $54,546.
