MY HEART JESS RUNS

My Heart Jess Runs earned the first stakes win of her career, winning the $237,763 Shue Fly Stakes-RG2 at Sunland Park on Jan.
28 in her second start at three.
Ridden by Mario Delgado, My Heart Jess
Runs broke alertly and and on top in the eight- horse field at the break. Wood Dee Queen also broke sharply and engaged My Heart Jess Runs from the start. The two raced through the lane together, with My Heart Jess Runs going wire- to-wire and prevailing by a neck at the wire. In scoring the initial stakes win of her career, My Heart Jess Runs stopped the clock in :19.373 for a 104 speed index in the gallant victory.
With the $111,749 winner’s share of the Shue Fly Stakes purse, My Heart Jess Runs
ran her career bankroll to $126,039, and the win improved her overall record to 7-3-1-1 for owner Boydston Enterprises Inc. and trainer James Gonzales III. My Heart Jess Runs broke her maiden at Ruidoso Downs last July and was second in her New Mexico State Fair Futurity
