Turf Paradise 870 Championship Allred Brothers Stakes KINDOFGALLANTTB TURBULENTKISSES

aking his first start at the 870-yard distance,
Kind Of Gallant TB scored a wire-to- wire victory in the $25,000 Turf Paradise 870 Championship at Turf Paradise on Jan. 9.
Kind Of Gallant broke well from the 4-post under jockey Alexis Valdes and they led at every
call enroute to the finish line. His margin of victory was 2 1/2-lengths over Thief In The Night TB. The 6-year-old gelding tripped the timer in :44.683 while logging a 105 speed index.
The $15,035 winner’s share of the purse pushed his bankroll to $46,895. This was the initial stakes victory of his career. He has now won three of his 16 outs.
Kind Of Gallant is a homebred for breeders/ owners Chris Randall and Frank Lucarelli, and Frank also trains the gelding.
Kind Of Gallant was bred in Washington, and he is out of the winning and stakes placed Kind Of Naughty, who placed second in the 2013 Queen Of The Green Stakes and the 2014 Kachina Handicap. She also placed third in the 2013 City Of Phoenix Stakes and earned $112,321 during her racing career. She has produced both winners from her two starters.
Thief In The Night TB (Hidden Blessing-From The Clouds) placed second under jockey Rigo Sarmiento. The 6-year-old California-bred ridgling is owned by Az Sunset Racing Stables and trained by Larry Scott Jr.
Jeremy Ransland’s Jazz Hands TB (Square Eddie- Nicole And Ben) finished third for trainer Justin Evans, 3 1/4-lengths behind Kind Of Gallant. Luis Negron piloted the 5-year-old California-bred gelding.

rancisco J. Ayon’s Turbulent Kisses, a 5-year-old
son of the Furyofthewind stallion Turubulent Times, held on at the wire to win the $30,000 Allred Brothers Stakes at Turf Paradise on Jan. 28.
Prepped by Heraclio Botello and sent to post at odds of 5-1, Turbulent Kisses covered 300 yards in :15.465 while recording a 101 speed index, and his margin of victory was a nose from 7-5 favorite Wildroses101, who brought a four-race win streak into the race. Aaron Belloc rode Turbulent Kisses.
Turbulent Kisses was stretching out in distance off of his 1/2-length win in the 100-yard Dashing All The Way Stakes at Turf Paradise on Dec. 21.
Turbulent Kisses has won six of 18 starts, and the $17,856 winner’s share of the purse from his second career stakes score pushed his bankroll to $77,686.
The gelding was bred in California by Jose de Jesus Ubario, and he is out of Kisses Calientes, a winning daughter of Champion Toast To Dash. He traces back to his fourth dam, Stars In Her Crown, a stakes-winning Easy Jet mare and runner-up in the ’85 Kindergarten Futurity-G1 at Los Alamitos.
Wildroses101 (JA Jess Perfect-Weeds In My Roses) earned the $5,760 runner-up share of the purse. Mark Jasso rode the 5-year-old gelding for owner Ferrari Racing Stables and trainer Ricardo Saldana. Chrissy Ledoux (FDD Dynasty-Jess One Looke) finished third, another nose behind Wildroses101, and earned $2,880 for her owners, Ralph and Carolyn Fales. Luis A. Valenzuela rode the homebred 4-year-old mare for trainer Matt Fales. Looke N At Me (Texas Icon-Jess One Looke), This Famous Dream (One Famous Eagle-This Dreams Flying), Walk To The Top (Walk Thru Fire-Azoom To The Top), Mister Bigg (Big Daddy Cartel-Sandys Jesse), Thru My Eyes (Fly Thru The Fire-Dawn Of A New Day), and Too Sass For You (Favorite Cartel-First Down Sass) followed. Apolitical Premier scratched.
