Post-time favorite JR Prissys Blood added another stakes victory to her impressive record at Pocatello Downs on Sept. 20, this time taking the
$33,000 ARC Idaho Distaff Challenge.
JR Prissys Blood broke on top from the 7-post
and ran at or near the front for the entire 400-yard race. After ceding the lead to Duck Dash N Go, JR Prissys Blood recaptured the advantage by a neck going into the stretch, then held off Duck Dash N Go to reach the wire a 1/2-length in front.
Riley Moosman trains JR Prissys Blood, who finished in :19.560 for a blistering 109 speed index. Jesus Valenzuela drew the riding assignment.
Ron Moosman owns JR Prissys Blood, who now boasts five wins in stakes company. This effort also qualified the three-year-old gray filly for the ARC Distaff Challenge Championship-G1.
Overall, this marked the seventh victory in 12 starts for JR Prissys Blood, with the $15,840 winner’s share of the purse boosting his overall earnings to $86,021. This marked her third straight win, with each victory recorded at a different track.
JR Stables bred JR Prissys Blood and owns her dam, Prissy B Panther, a stakes winner herself. The 2005 mare has produced 100% winners from eight starters.
Duck Dash N Go (Coronas Fast Dash-Duck Mea Running) made a game run for second under Eric Ayala. Lex Fabrizio is the owner and Monty Arrossa the trainer. Loco Ocho (The Louisiana Cartel-Sign of Pride) hit the board in third place for Les and Darla Barlow. The Garth Blattner trainee had Never Marin aboard.
Shesa Dashair (Dashair-Shesaspeedin Bullet), Royallittlewagon (Paintyourownwagon-Royal Little Strike), Shes Emotionless (Hes Relentless-Natalie Dash), Lil Orange Princess (Freighttrain B-Lil Orange Scooter) and Missus Badger (Stel Corona- Dorothy Neil) completed the order of finish.

RTM Glory Days broke her maiden with a 3/4-length victory in the $17,000 Idaho Cup Futurity for state-bred juveniles at Pocatello Downs
on Sept. 20.

Stables LLC, RTM Glory Days went 350 yards in :17.989 while earning an 85 speed index and the $6,800 winner’s share of the purse from her first win in four outs. Jesus Canales rode the filly.
RTM Glory Days was making her first start since July 17, when she ran fifth at odds of 36-1 in a 350-yard Bitterroot Futurity-RG3 trial at Pocatello Downs.
The filly was bred by Susan T. Hanson out of RTM Say Your Prayers, winner of the 2012 Merial Distaff Challenge Championship at Sandy Downs near Idaho Falls. The mare has produced 100% stakes winners from two starters, including top earner RTM Good Enough.
Runner-up Heza Gator (Apollitical Blood-Sheza Gator) finished second and earned $3,400 for own- ers Vicente Treyes and Five Livestock Company LLC. Cesar Moreno rode the bay gelding for trainer Monty Arrossa.
Larry Chapple’s One Corona Special (Coronas Fast Dash-Jesse Jayne) ran third, a head behind Heza Gator and banking the $1,700 third-place share of the purse. Jesus Valenzuela rode the home- bred sorrel filly for trainer Paul Greene.
Baby She Flys Right (Righter-DSW She Fly), Play Ur Cards (Docs Best Card-Feature Miss Fame), Imported Corona (Class Jump-Suzi Ran), DQ’d from 4th to 7th GW Stylish Diamond (Second Painted Sign-GW Running Diamond), Waves Apart (Oceans Apart-Snow In My Corona), Lethal Agent (Lethal Corona-Micks Jewels)
and Ocean Voyage (Ocean Runaway-Cassies Jet Voyage) completed the official order of finish.

Powerful Favorite has special meaning for owner Connie Rosenthal. She purchased the gelding for her husband, Bob, but he didn’t live to see Powerful
Favorite race. Powerful Favorite’s most recent victory came in the $100,000 Go Man Go Handicap-G1 at Los Alamitos on Aug. 30.
Ridden by Eduardo Nicasio. Powerful Favorite jumped out to the lead right at the start. The race was never in doubt, as he scored by 1 1/4-lengths, stopping the timer in :19.420 for 400 yards, which was good for a 102 speed index.
Christopher O’Dell trains Powerful Favorite for Rosenthal Ranch LLC. Connie Rosenthal paid $90,000 for Powerful Favorite at the 2017 Los Alamitos Equine Sale.
James Markum and Dr. Steve Burns bred Powerful Favorite out of multiple stakes winner Remember Me Rose. The mare has produced 15 winners from 19 start- ers, including stakes winners Runforyourlife, Cyber Monday, Intense Fire, and Tessta Rossa.
EG High Desert Farms’ homebred Bail Czech (Corona Czech-Letty Bail Regis Out) finished second. Mark Jasso rode the gelding for trainer Jesus Nunez. Bail Czech was coming off a victory in the Spencer L. Childers California Breeders’ Championship Handicap-RG1.
Jim Walker’s homebred Zoomin For Spuds (Zoomin For Bux-A Perfect Cocktail) ran third under jockey Jose Nicasio for trainer Monty Arrossa. Zoomin For Spuds’ 11 stakes wins include the 2016 Champion of Champions-G1.
Followed by Chocolatito (Favorite Cartel-Enjoy The Walk), Jess Macho Corona (Corona Cartel-Jess Send Me), Mister Appolitical (Apollitical Jess-LR Miss Atina), Jesstacartel (One Sweet Jess-Stolmeacartel), Transcend (Walk Thru Fire-In Another World), Alamode (Kiddy Up-Pie Maid) and Corona Jumpim MRL (Corona For Me-Ipanema Gold).
