Higheasterjet Handicap-G2
SC MONEY MAKER

SC Money Maker made the most money in the $40,000 Higheasterjet Handicap-G2 at Ruidoso Downs on June 27.
It has been almost a year since SC Money
Maker has been in the winner’s circle, but he was at the top of his game coming into the Higheasterjet Handicap-G2. Ridden by Benito Baca, the gelding broke from the 4-post in front. With a 1/2-length lead by the first call, the duo continued to increase their lead throughout the 350 yards, crossing the finish line 1 1/2-length in front. They finished their wire-to-wire victory in :17.259, posting a 103 speed index.
SC Money Maker secured the $24,000 win-
ner’s share of the purse for owner/breeder Reliance Ranches LLC and trainer Mike Robbins, pushing his total lifetime earnings to $195,484.
Reliance Ranches bred SC Money Maker out of 2-time Champion Spit Curl Diva. During her racing career, Spit Curl Diva won 12 stakes races and set six New Track Records. As a broodmare, she has produced 12 winners from 17 starters, including
top earner and Champion Coronas First Diva. SC Money Maker is her fifth stakes winner.
Consigliere (One Famous Eagle-Separate Fire) and jockey Noe Garcia came in seond for owner Rafter W Stables and trainer Michael Joiner.
Senator Fast Jack (Louisiana Senator- Shezafasterthanjack) finished third under Paul Nieto for owner Alonso Juarez and trainer Harvey Baeza.
Putinical (Apollitical Jess-KGB Agent Anna), Taking The Stage (Louisiana Senator-Thirty Fourth Street), Senor Frogs (Coranado Cartel-Nellie Soprano), Thisizit (FDD Dynasty-Lady Dee Vee Em), Fire Up Eagle (One Dashing Eagle-Fire Up Willie), Flash For Corona (First Moonflash-Victory For Corona) and Jess My Kiss (One Sweet Jess-Dreaming Of Kisses) completed the order of finish. HS Paul Walker and Mitey Political were scratched.
Ruidoso Invitational Stakes
APOLLITICAL J WILD

Apollitical J Wild scored his first stakes win in the $100,000 Ruidoso Invitational at Ruidoso Downs on June 6.
Breaking from the 8-post, Apollitical J Wild
was running fourth both at the first call and as he entered the stretch. The gelding then made his late surge, sprinting to the front of the field and winning by a 1/2-length margin.
Salvador Soto trains Apollitical J Wild, who finished the stakes race in :20.065 for an 85 speed index. Paul Garcia drew the riding assignment. The victory produced a $44,094 payday, swelling his lifetime earnings to $91,298. Jose Bernardo Soto owns Apollitical J Wild, who got to the winner’s circle for the first time this year. He finished third in the West Texas Futurity-G3, held in March at Sunland Park.
Rancho El Cabresto, Inc., bred Apollitical J Wild out of stakes winner BP Shes Southern. She is a 100% money earner producer from 11 starters. Apollitical J Wild is her first stakes winner.
Dynast C (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Bling Dynasty) and KJ Mucho Macho Man were separated by a neck for runner-up honors. Both had the same trainer, Wesley Giles. TYHKE Racing, LLC, owns Dynast C. Noe Garcia, Jr., was aboard. KJ Mucho Macho Man (Apollitical Jess-Wild Six) is owned by John Lee, Wanda Kathy Lee and Ruben Mares. Alan Hernandez did the riding.

Why (First Down Dash-Whip Curl) finish fourth, followed by Avyator (One Famous Eagle-Quick Moon Sign), Truly A Dynasty (FDD Dynasty-Truly Favorite), Laser Cut (Hes Relentless-Royal Quick Glass), and Elm Creek Khrome (Krash Cartel-Jess Love To Fly). Laser Cut was disqualified from fifth to seventh because of interference. KJ Frankie B and My Fast Prize were both scratched.
Ruidoso Juvenile
FOR THE IRONY

For The Irony remained perfect in his young career, taking the $100,000 Ruidoso Juvenile Invitational Stakes at Ruidoso Downs on June 7 for
his second win in as many starts for owner Diamond Racing Stables.
Ridden by Sergio Becerra Jr., For The Irony broke alertly in the 350-yard test and hooked up immediately with Spirit Valley. The two dueled the length of the lane with For The Irony prevailing
by a head at the finish. In winning for the second straight time, For The Irony covered the distance in :18.002, earning an 81 speed index for trainer Sergio Ibarra.
The $42,000 winner’s share of the purse increased his bankroll to $46,800.
For the Irony was bred in California by Stone Chase Stables and sold for $20,000 at the 2019 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale. The black gelding is the first foal out of unraced Dare You To Beat Me, a half-sister to seven stakes runners.
Spirit Valley (Tres Seis-She Forgives) finished a determined second after breaking on top under Raul Valenzuela. Trainer John Stinebaugh saddled the runner-up for owner Just Horsing Around LLC.
Jess Painted (Mr Jess Perry-Corona Over Ice) hopped at the start but rallied late to finish third. Ricky Ramirez was aboard the gray gelding for owner/breeder Adam Smith and trainer Blane Wood.
TLC Apache Heart (The Louisiana Cartel- Apache Heart), A Dangerous Flash (First Moonflash-Flame N Flash), Watch Him B Famous (One Famous Eagle-Lady Lilia), Distinctive
Delight (Separatist-A Delightful Legacy), Jess Agree (Apollitical Jess-Eye Agree), Steal the Candy (Jess Good Candy-She Travels) and Valiantt (Valiant Hero-Astica) followed. Distinctive Delight was dis- qualified from 7th to 9th for bothering foes after the break. Best Moonflash and Seven were scratched.
