The Burbanks saw that travel was hard for Sparkling Tip, so she was sold to Dr. Leonard Blach at Buena Suerte Ranch in New Mexico where she could be bred to Easy Jet. Confirmed, by Easy Jet, was born in 1983 and he was a stakes finalist in

the 1986 Dash For Cash Derby and the Pilgrim Handicap. Feature Tip by Truckle Feature, who was unraced was next in 1985. James Markum of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, bought Sparkling Tip in 1987. Her last foal born in 1987 was Sparkling Feature, a full sister to Feature Tip and she was an ROM runner.
Sparkling Tip overcame a lot of obstacles to be born, to race and to be a producer. She overcame these obstacles and she proved herself
to be a blue hen mare that is still influencing the breed today. Most of all, she is one of the examples of why we are looking at all mares and what they bring to the pedigree.
Fighter On Fire, the leading money earner for Merridoc as a broodmare sire, winning the 2009 Bank of America California Championship Challenge at Los Alamitos.
