When it comes to great stallions like Azure Te, we never can cover all his foals.
But during this look at this great stallion’s sire record, we profiled some interesting pedigree patterns that had an effect on his sire record. It certainly shows that mares like Peggy Cooper and Quickly were particularly important to that sire record. We also
saw how he outcrossed on the prominent bloodlines of Three Bars, Top Deck, Leo, and a combination of those bloodlines to make his mark as a true outcross for the breed.
Warren bred to Three Bars when he wanted to stretch his Leo mares out in distance.
Warren also bred to Sugar Bars, a son of Three Bars, for more competitiveness at longer distances.

she was sired by Jet Deck. Jet’s Fair Lady became a broodmare for Speed Farms – the partnership of Ted Wells, Jay Pumphrey and Lee McLean. They bred Jet’s Fair Lady to Azure Te to get Sizzle Te in 1976.
Sizzle Te ran 50 races with 10 wins, 11 seconds and four thirds earning $226,665.
