APOLLITICAL PATTY

Not only did owner Julianna Hawn Holt and trainer Monty Arrossa win the $427,500 Los Alamitos Oaks-G3 on March 27 with
odds-on favorite Apollitical Patty, they com- pleted the Exacta with 7-1 Aint She Tempting.
Apollitical Patty, the fastest qualifier from the March 6 trials, drew the outside post, and when the gate opened, she broke inwardly but on the lead.
She quickly gained a 1 1/2-length mar-
gin by the first call under jockey Armando Cervantes. From there Apollitical Patty dominated the field, pulling away to win the 400-yard event by 2-lengths in :19.472. Aint She Tempting beat the rest, grabbing second by a 1/2-length.
The $179,550 that Apollitical Patty earned made her a millionaire, with total earnings
of $1,077,042. She is on a four-race win-
ning streak, having won both of her trials
as well as the 2020 Los Alamitos $2 Million Futurity-G1.
