Downs At Albuquerque Fall Championship-G1

Valiant Tiberias had to defeat a Champion to win the $300,000 Grade 1 Downs at Albuquerque Fall Championship on Sept. 19. He bested the gallant Danjer to bring the tro- phy to owners Sergio Holguin, Clifton Nielsen, and Felix Rodriguez.
“He’s beaten us the last couple of times, so it was our turn, I guess,” said Holguin.

Park Invitational Championship-G1, with Valiant Tiberias in the beaten field. But Valiant Tiberias was having none of it this time.
With a new jockey, Juan Pulido, and trainer, Hector Jacquez, Valiant Tiberias put on quite a display. He jumped out to the lead quickly in the 440-yard event.
