All American Invitational
DULCE SIN TACHA
by Tracy Gantz
Dulce Sin Tacha, the Champion Two- Year-Old Colt of 2020, took a record of seven wins and three seconds into the Sept. 5
All American Invitational Stakes at Ruidoso Downs. He didn’t disappoint his backers, bringing that win column up to eight.
Bettors sent Dulce Sin Tacha off as the heavy 3-5 favorite in the 440-yard Invitational, having topped the qualifying ladder to the event. With jockey Rodrigo Vallejo in the irons, Dulce Sin Tacha broke on top from post nine and was always in charge. He scored wire- to-wire by a 1/2-length in :21.171.
“He’s one of the best three-year-olds in training,” said Vallejo. “The colt ran fast and easy—no issues today.”
Heath Taylor trains Dulce Sin Tacha for owner/breeders Bob and Jerry Gaston. During his Championship season, the colt won the Texas Classic Futurity-G1 and ran second in the All American Juvenile Stakes. Earlier this
