MUY PELIGROSITO

Muy Peligrosito may look like a small horse, easily discounted, but he runs more like his name, which is Spanish for “very
dangerous.” He was indeed very dangerous in the Sept. 6 All American Juvenile Stakes at Ruidoso Downs, when he trounced his nine rivals decisively.
“It’s very special when you’ve raised the horse,” said owner Abelardo Gallegos.
Gallegos and several friends and family turned out to Ruidoso Downs to see Muy Peligrosito in the All American Juvenile.
Adrian Ramos, who rode the gelding in his only two previous starts, was back aboard for trainer Albert Valles. Muy Peligrosito’s size may have scared away bettors, who made him 13-1, the third-longest shot in the field.
Muy Peligrosito broke well and on the lead from the 9-gate, only brushing slightly with the horse to his inside. Then he powered down the straightaway, gaining momentum throughout
