Oklahoma Derby-G3
ALL POINTZ BULLETIN
by Michael Compton
While not actively sought by law enforcement, All Pointz Bulletin
ran like a filly on the run in the $262,700 Oklahoma Derby-G3 on March 19. Dunn Ranch’s daughter of Tres Seis did her best to avoid nine rivals in the 350-yard test, eluding her pursuers long enough to record a narrow victory over a competitive field
of sophomores.
Ridden by Francisco Calderon, All Pointz Bulletin bobbled at the break but still managed to grab the lead out of the gates. She received pressure from Revenant Moon in the early stages and then dueled with Valerity in the lane. After shrugging off her early challengers, All Pointz Bulletin was never headed as she held at bay a late move from Dashing Movement, piloted by Juan Pulido, approaching the wire to defeat that rival by a neck at the line. Valerity and jockey Paul Nieto finished third, another head behind the runner-up.
