Beaus First Dynasty (A Revenant-Beaus Dynastys), who was sent off at odds of 27-1,
ran admirably to finish second under jockey Ali Rivera. The sorrel filly, who finished second in her trial heat, is a Texas homebred for Francisco Garza and she is trained by Jose Sanchez III. Jose Sanchez III won the 2019 edition of the Louisiana Futurity-G3 with Trump My Record, who went on to be named 2019 Champion 2-Year-Old Gelding and won an impressive 13 of 16 starts.
Hes No Average Bear (Hes Relentless-Nice Hustle) rounded out the trifecta, finishing third under jockey Luciano Duenez. The brown colt races for Eric Hinojosa and is trained by Joel Cantu. Bred in Texas by Randy McDonald, Hes No Average Bear
won his trial heat by a neck. The colt was a $19,000 purchase at the TQHA Yearling Sale.
Dakota Gurl (Muddy Waters-Runaway Charli) finished in fourth place in the hand- timed race and was followed over the finish line by Hotamale (Duponte-Srirracha), SWS Twenty Three (Muddy Waters-Twenty If U Make It), JMG Apollitical Capo (Capo De Capi-Gold Ounce), Feature Five Bar (Five Bar Cartel-Defining Difference) and Jes An Angel (Jess Zoomin-Ms Kates Angel). Won My Heat was scratched.
