GALLBLADDER POLYPS
• Sonographically polyps appear as echogenic non-shadowing, non-mobile projections of tissue.
• Most polyps are benign, incidentally discovered and measure less than 5 mm. A rapidly growing polyp or large polyp is worrisome for gallbladder carcinoma.
