          ACUTE CHOLECYSTITIS
▪ The sudden onset of gallbladder inflammation is referred to as acute cholecystitis
– The most common cause is a gallstone is stuck in the cystic duct or in the gallbladder neck.
▪ Clinical findings include RUQ pain, leukocytosis, elevated ALK Phos, aminotransferase, and bilirubin.
