Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach provides daily services and compassionate care:
Immediate Hunger Relief: Guests are welcome to walk through open doors and, without
judgment, receive nutritious meals twice each day. Food Pantry boxes are available.
Outreach: Guests are connected to resources for their families, including mail service,
assistance with filing for birth certificates and identification documents, washer and
dryer use, shower spaces and hygiene items, socks, clothing and other necessities.
Assistance in Addressing Addiction: Substance abuse evaluations, counseling and
outreach are provided at no cost to individuals who are without homes. These services,
plus transitional housing, give clients the opportunity to address housing, treatment and
long-term recovery needs.
Paths for Defeating Homelessness: Evidence-based best practices for securing safe and
stable housing assisted 320 adults and children with housing last year, a 48% increase
over the previous year.
