HELPING OTHERS THRIVE

Lincoln Literacy’s support is available:
Online
In-person, with classes offered at a
variety of Lincoln locations
Through one-to-one tutoring and
mentoring by volunteers

Two 12-passenger vans, driven by former
refugees, provide transportation to
selected classes for those most in need.
Once there, adult students can make use
of free childcare while they learn.

Through the organization’s Bridgeway to a Better Life Initiative, volunteer professionals
equip English learners and others with the occupational or career skills and credentials
needed for employment. Among the offerings: GED Prep, CNA Prep, Teacher Prep,
Manufacturing Prep and Truck Driver education. Mentors assist students with job searches.
