                      FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

           Q    ARE ALL OF THE GROUPS FEATURED IN THE CATALOG NON-PROFITS?
           A   Yes. Each is an established not-for-profit organization or is affiliated with one.


           Q    ARE THERE OPTIONS FOR TRADITIONAL GIFTS IN THIS CATALOG?
           A      Yes!  You  will  find  notecards,  framed  art,  custom-embroidered  towels,  hot  pads,  palm
           crosses  and  Trees  of  Hope  kits.  Other  donations  can  be  showcased  with  an  ornament,
           included  in  a  card  tied  with  a  fancy  bow  or  paired  with  an  inexpensive  add-on  that  matches
           the theme. Examples: Wrap a jar of local honey with your donation of bees to ELCA Good Gifts
           or  a  small  stuffed  animal  with  your  gift  of  a  pig.  Enclose  a  child-made  drawing  and  a  few
           pencils to announce your donation in honor of a teacher. Snap a photo of your child cuddled
           in  a  blanket  to  let  someone  know  s/he  gifted  a  blanket  to  keep  a  child  warm.  Did  your  gift
           provide a birthday cake for a family at Matt Talbot? Include a birthday candle and a napkin in
           a tiny package to help you tell the story.


           Q   HOW DO I GET STARTED?
           A   Make  a  list  of  who  you’re  shopping  for.  Think  about  their  interests.  Consider  buying  gifts

           for year-round events like birthdays, anniversaries, housewarmings, graduations or baptisms.
           Enter  8:00  am  on  December  4  on  your  calendar  (when  online  shopping  begins)  and  set  an
           alarm to remind you when online shopping ends on December 5 at 10:00 pm.

          Q    DO ALL PURCHASES GO INTO THE SAME ONLINE CART?
          A    Yes,  but  with  one  exception.  The  ELCA  Good  Gifts  are  purchased  separately  through  the
          link provided on page 6. Gifts offered on all other pages are purchased using the online Gifts

          of  Hope  shopping  cart  and  check  out.  Email  us  at  store@flclincoln.org  if  you  need  to  pay  by
          check.

          Q    WHAT IF I NEED HELP WITH ORDERING OR HAVE A QUESTION?
          A    Email  store@flclincoln.org  or  leave  a  message  at  First  Lutheran  Church  (402.488.0919).  A
          volunteer will return your call or answer your email.
          Q    CAN I SEE ITEMS AT THE IN-PERSON MARKET?

          A   Yes! The Gifts of Hope Market educational displays and market will be open at 1551 South
          70th  Street  in  Lincoln,  NE,  inside  the  main  entrance  of  the  church  on  Sunday,  December  5,
          from 9:00 am. to Noon. Please wear a face mask to keep our market a safe space for all.

          Q    I DON'T LIVE IN LINCOLN. CAN YOU MAIL PURCHASES TO ME?

          A   Yes. Purchases in your cart can be mailed to one address. You will be asked to pay a $5 fee
          for postage and handling during checkout.

           Q    I LIVE IN THE LINCOLN AREA. WHEN MAY I PICK UP GIFTS I ORDERED ONLINE?
           A      Saturday,  December  11,  from  9:00-11:00  am,  at  First  Lutheran  Church,  1551  South  70th
           Street, in Lincoln, NE.
