Founded in 1947, CEDARS helps children and youth in
Lincoln, Nebraska achieve safety, stability and enduring
family relationships.
CEDARS is best known for providing a caring and secure
place where children whose families are experiencing a
crisis are welcomed night and day.

Through CEDARS, parents, foster families and partnering
agencies receive the support they need to care for
children effectively.

4,783 nights of emergency shelter were provided
162 families were reunited, keeping families in the community strong

Today alone, CEDARS will serve nearly 800 children and youth.
