Augusta Victoria is now a specialized center of medical excellence, known for its Cancer Care
Center, Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation Care Center, Dialysis Unit, Surgical Ear,
Nose and Throat Care, Diabetes Center, Specialized Care for Children, Skilled Nursing and
Sub-Acute Long-Term Care. These services are not available in the majority of hospitals in
Palestine. On a daily basis, these specialty services touch countless lives, young and old, from
communities across the Palestinian territories.

So much has changed. Up-to-the-minute information about the life-altering effects of war on
the hospital and on the people of the region can be found at the newly-updated Lutheran

specific information about damage to Augusta Victoria’s Diagnostic Center in the Al Ahli
