Federalsburg The Federalsburg Historical Society plans to hold Saturday
Open Houses on June 10, July 8, and August 12 from 10 a.m.
Historical Society until 2 p.m. Exeter is located at 408 Old Denton Road in
Federalsburg. Docents will be available. Admission is free, but
Eastern Shore Baseball donations are welcomed.
League from 1922-1949
The Eastern Shore has embraced
America’s pastime from the
earliest days of the game. In small
towns across Delaware, Maryland
and Virginia, teams played to
enthusiastic, sold-out crowds.
On Delmarva, game days were celebrations that provided a
respite after a long day in the field or on the water. Stands were
often packed with men, women, and children in volumes that June 10, 2023 • 10 AM - 4 PM
outnumbered a town’s entire population. Baseball was the

The Eastern Shore Baseball League was a class D minor league

and introducing his new book, "Eastern Shore League Extra

Exeter House Open Houses
Exeter is one of the oldest remaining structures in southern ABEL EnviroTech
Caroline County dating back to around 1800. Many of its early
residents were millers who worked in the grist mill across the
road on the Marshyhope Creek.
