SHEZA FREIGHTTRAIN T

Sheza Freighttrain T once again proved her affinity for the racing strip at Delta Downs, winning the $30,000 Delta Dash Stakes on May 10 to remain undefeated in three starts at the Vinton, Louisiana racetrack.
Ridden by regular rider Rolando Pina, Sheza Freighttrain T broke alertly in the 250-yard dash. Despite drifting in through the lane, Sheza Freighttrain T rallied strongly and powered to a 1⁄2-length score over Mag 1 and jockey Rolando Cabrera. The brisk final clocking of :12.841 was just ticks off the track record of :12.673 set by Game Patriots Delux in 2013, and the time earned the brown filly a speed index of 106. Sheza Freighttrain T is trained by Eric Long and owned by Patrick Richardson.
Sent off as the 8-5 race favorite, Sheza Freighttrain B picked up the $18,000 winner’s share of the purse, which raised her career bankroll to $346,259. The win also improved her overall record to 10-6-2-
0. Numbered among her victories is a win in last year’s Lassie Futurity-RG2 at Delta Downs. Bred in Louisiana by Rusty Trahan, Sheza Freighttrain B is out of the Carters Cartel mare Cloning Around.
Runner-up Mag 1 (Mr Jess Kue-Oak Tree Chic) raced in contention throughout and held the place spot for owner Mag 3 Racing & trainer Saul Ramirez Jr. The 5-year-old gelding is a multiple stakes winner and is Graded stakes-placed. Kalies Magic (AJS Fast Dash-Ms Wandas Magic) flashed good speed away from the gate and finished 3rd under Bobby Ransom. The 4-year-old filly is a homebred for Arnold Trahan and is trained by Trey Ellis. Followed by Lil Jess Rogue (Heza Fast Rogue-Lil Jess Print), La Savanne (Jet Black Patriot-Miss Phoebes O Toole), Mr Tereso (Man Who Would Be King-My Cold Corona), Ms Cruzin Fast (Heza Fast Dash-Ms Patriot Awe) & Packin A Punch (Toast To Dash-El Streaker). A Game Jess and Sheza Zoomin Memory were scratched.
Jimmy Drake Stakes-RG3

In a field of seven, six of them crossed the wire with a speed index over 100, and Colby James was the fastest with a 112 in the $54,295 Jimmy Drake
Stakes-RG3 held at SunRay Park on May 16. Colby James broke from 2-post well and the outcome was never in doubt. He had the lead by
the first call and at the halfway mark was 1-length in front. With Mario Delgado aboard, Colby James crossed the finish line 1/2-lengths in front. They completed the 400 yards in :19.267 to earn that 112 speed index. The gelding also earned the first place check worth $33,660, that ups his total earnings
to $400,495 for owner Rex Wells and trainer J J Gonzalez Jr. The gelding’s race record stands at six wins out of thirteen races.
MJ Farms bred Colby James out of unraced Sandy June Bug. She has produced 13 winners from 17 starters. Colby James is her fourth stakes winner and top earner. Her other stakes winners include Daddys Blushing, Junior June Bug and Hedge Fund. Wahene Version (Winners Version-Wahene Kai) ran a steady and even race with a late kick.
She banked second place money for owner Erick Carrillo and trainer Beatriz Sanchez-Carrillo. Hector Aldrete was handling the reins.
Burn One Down For Me (Woodbridge-Wish You Had One Too) didn’t break the best, but showed grit to get up for third. Connections include owner Carlos Paez and Juan D Torres was in charge of conditioning. Sergio Becerra Jr. was in the irons.
Marcus Medallion (Jesse James Jr-Houstons Medallion), Girl With A Plan (Big Daddy Cartel- Thirty Fourth Street), Wisho (Next Bandit TB-Little Bit Southern) and Cartel Drunk Playboy (Big Daddy Cartel-Key Deputy Driver) completed the order
of finish. Big Spurs, Blazinberryberryfast, Hs Paul Walker and Running Zule were scratched.
Four Corners Futurity
TEMPTING DREAMGIRL

Javier Alvarez Jr.’s Tempting Dreamgirl broke her maiden in the $65,655 Four Corners Futurity at SunRay Park on May 23.
Ridden by Juan Rivas for trainer Juan M. Gonzalez and aided by a reported 5-mph tail wind, Tempting Dreamgirl went 350 yards in :17.671, and her margin of victory was a nose in front of One Fabulous Seis. The sorrel filly earned a 94 speed index and the $30,863 winner’s share of the purse. She has now banked $31,563 from two outs.
The third-fastest qualifier, Tempting Dreamgirl made her debut with a second-place finish in the first of two Four Corners Futurity trials on May 7. Tempting Dreamgirl was bred in Utah by the Marla K. Robinson Family Trust, and she is out
of Allamericandreamgirl, a winning daughter of Strawfly Special and a finalist sin the 2005 Hobbs America Derby at Zia Park. Her second dam, the Dash For Cash mare Dashing Phoebe, was the sport’s Champion 2-Year-Old Filly in 1985 and Champion 3-Year-Old Filly the following season. One Fabulous Seis (One Fabulous Eagle-Sissy Seis) was second for her owner, Debra M. Gotovac. Alejandro Medina rode the filly for trainer Brad Bolen. Five Bar Kidd (Five Bar Cartel-Jess Another Queen) finished third, 1-length behind Tempting Dreamgirl, and banked $7,223 for owner and trainer Ivan Tafoya. Kevin Enriquez-Arenivas rode the
colt and $9,500 yearling purchase.Fastest qualifier and 2-5 favorite La Cuchara (Jess Good Candy-Ms Dashin Bigtime) ran fourth and was followed by KJ Suzy Q (Kiss My Hocks-I Lika Blue Too), Ah Mr Lana Del Ray (Apollitical Blood-Wagon Del Rey), Run Shadow (Coronado Cartel-Sweeet), Maudest Maven (Apollitical Jess-Madresita), Dixie Park (Separatist-Lacys On Speed Dial) and Parliamentary Spirit (Apollitical Spirit-Martinis N Bikinis). CP Hammer Of Cartel was scratched.
