- Borders and the wall. Trump’s southern border wall will devastate tribal communities, and
further sever families and cultural bonds. The wall will also cause terrible harm to the
environment and our two-legged and four-legged relatives; all that walk and crawl.
This is by no means an exhaustive list, and as we gather input from tribal communities around

GIC has offices in the heart of the Great Plains and Rocky Mountain regions. It was in these
areas, aside the two great rivers – the Missouri and Yellowstone – that our ancestors engaged
in geopolitical economics, diplomacy and leadership, and provided the blueprint for us to follow
today. We invite you to join with us as we write our own story, reclaim our history, and
realize a future that we make. We look forward to hearing your voices, and for the words you
speak to provide guidance throughout the Four Directions.
